Make Me Creative
MAKE ME CREATIVE operates as a storytelling studio and production house. Exploring the systems that shape human life through filmmaking, writing, designing, and collaborations with institutions and organizations inside those systems.
We’re not a marketing company, and we’re not purely artists. We operate where creating understanding from complexity is needed and we do that through three different streams of work.
Institutional Storytelling
We help organizations uncover and tell thoughtful, compelling stories. Typical deliverables include documentary-style films and commercials, institutional narratives, impact stories, and case studies. But the work often produces more than a final deliverable. The process can lead to gatherings and events, new research and data synthesis, long-term storytelling strategies, and an archive of narrative assets that organizations can draw on for years to come.
Using Zoom-recorded interviews and archived material, we helped J5 create personalized bio videos for their employees.
Using content captured during monthly community walks, we created several videos that consolidated findings and strengthened community connections.
Cultural Work
When a story inspires us, we pursue it. These projects are driven by curiosity and creative exploration rather than institutional needs. They include documentaries, short films, novels, essays, and other creative work that allows us to experiment, learn, and contribute to the culture of our community.

Speaking with caregivers, we created this video to generate interest and donations for Gordie Howe Cares as they launched a new model for caregiver support.

These types of videos utilize craft and storytelling to tell complex stories in a way that cuts through the noise and reaches your audience.
Working with Vivo, we repurposed content captured over several years to create a cinematic story that highlights their past and the future possibilities in their new facility.
Working with PCL, J5, COI, and Holland, we created an event experience and documented it to showcase this innovative office design.
